Rules of the game |
There are seven variations of the game.
Tetris: Classic mode, Pentix: Classic mode
Tetris is an exciting action game.
Throughout the game, Tetris pieces fall from the top to the bottom of the playing area.
Each piece continues to fall until it lands on another piece or the bottom of the playing
area. When the Tetris pieces form a solid row of blocks across the playing area, that row
vanishes.
Because this is the only way to remove blocks, you should try to form solid rows whenever
possible. The game ends when the pieces stack up to the top of the playing area. You can
manipulate a piece only when it is falling. With the keyboard, you can rotate a falling
piece and move it left, right, or down, or dropped to the bottom of the playing area.
Pentix is a popular variation of Tetris that's essentially the same as
Tetris, but introduces larger and more complex block formations, which can be quite a
challenge to place.
Tetris: Timer mode, Pentix: Timer mode
In addition to rules of Classic mode this mode includes Time
Counter.
Time Counter appears in the window and counts time backwards to zero.
The time is added when the rows of blocks are vanished:
One Row - 5 seconds;
Two Rows - 15 seconds;
Three Rows - 25 seconds;
Four Rows - 50 seconds;
The time is added by 15 seconds after each level;
When the time is up the game ends.
Tetris: Rising mode, Pentix: Rising mode
In addition to rules of Classic mode this mode includes Rising
Counter.
The Rising Counter appears in the window.
The Rising Counter is decreased every time your piece lands on another
piece or the bottom of the playing area.
The Rising Counter is increased when the rows of blocks are vanished.
One Row - piece counter is increased by one;
Two Rows - piece counter is increased by two;
Three Rows - piece counter is increased by four;
Four Rows - piece counter is increased by six;
But the Rising Counter can not be more than its initial value.
The Rising Counter is resetted to the initial value after each level.
When the Rising Counter has vanished one row of blocks is added to the
playing area and the Rising Counter is resetted to the initial value;
Tetris: World Championship
In addition to rules of Classic mode this mode includes Time
Counter and Rising Counter.
But the Time Counter appears only in the 12th level.
And the Rising Counter appears only in the 15th level.
Results obtained only in this mode you can send to the World
Championship !
Note: You can not save game in this mode.
Bombs in the game
You can play with bombs in all variations except Tetris: World
Championship.
Bomb is given when you remove multiple rows of blocks simultaneously.
Two Rows - Yellow Bomb
Three Rows - Green Bomb
Four Rows - Red Bomb
Yellow Bomb destroys one block

Green Bomb destroys six blocks

Red Bomb destroys ten blocks

The Bomb disappears when it touches with the borders of the playing area.
